Motive is looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer to own and manage hardware reliability engineering activities during product development. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners to understand the product use case and translate that into a comprehensive reliability plan to enable design and ship a reliable product. This is a high impact role where the individual will be responsible for reliability specification development, test plan development, coordinating test execution as well as drive failure analysis and risk assessments.

Design and build systems that power audiobook ingestion, transformation, and delivery — ensuring performance, accuracy, and scalability across millions of titles. Contribute across the stack, from backend services and APIs to lightweight interfaces or operational tools, depending on the team’s evolving needs. Adapt and T-shape as the mission evolves.
